Designed for complex 3D printing needs, the MakerBot METHOD X 3D Printer is bridging the gap between consumer and industrial 3D printing. It features a Dual Performance Extruder system, utilizing the included MakerBot Model 1XA and Support 2XA Extruders. Combined with the 212°F (100°C) enclosed build chamber, which circulates the heat, the MakerBot METHOD X 3D Printer can print a wide variety of complex and durable ABS parts. The MakerBot METHOD X 3D Printer is also compatible with ASA, PLA, and PETG filaments. For support filaments, the METHOD X can use PVA and SR-30 filaments.
The METHOD X features a metal frame that runs the entire length of the body to offset flexing. Combined with the spring steel build plate, the METHOD X provides a true flat surface for better part accuracy and a reduced chance of failure. There are also two dry-sealed material bays at the base of the METHOD X to store your filaments in optimal conditions. The 5" display has a 640 x 480 resolution and supports touchscreen controls. You'll be able to navigate menus and settings as well as monitor your print jobs. The METHOD X allows you to print via 10/100 Mb/s Fast Ethernet RJ45 LAN, USB 2.0 Type-A, and Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n).
Note: MakerBot materials are sold separately. Removal of SR-30 support material requires Circulation Tank and Ecoworks cleaning agent, available from third-party resellers. For more information, please visit MakerBot's official website.
